Cleo Rocks is the 9th episode of Season 4 in the original version of MacGyver.
Summary[]
MacGyver's friend Penny Parker gets the lead part in a new musical, Cleo Rocks, and invites him to the rehearsal. The performance meets with MacGyver's approval, but there is conflict between the director and Wintergreen, the theatre's owner, who questions the hiring of an inexperienced actress like Penny for the lead role and is convinced Cleo Rocks will be a box office failure. Moreover, dangerous accidents have been happening at the theatre, and MacGyver suspects Wintergreen may be trying to collect on an insurance policy against the production being cancelled by killing off the leading lady.
