Summary[]
Pinky, a star of silent films, is showing his films to MacGyver. Pinky hopes that The Phoenix Foundation will preserve his films. Pinky and his friend Karl were also good at building sets and making special effects. There was however, a problem: they were both in love with the same actress and became enemies. Two masked men invade Pinky's house and take his films. Can MacGyver retrieve them? The question proves irrelevant, since MacGyver believes the best course of action is to call the police, while Pinky insists on setting out on his own, believing that one of the thieves is Karl and that he will burn the films out of spite if he doesn't retrieve them immediately.
The tires on MacGyver's car have been sabotaged, but Pinky persists in walking after them, ignoring MacGyver's warnings that this is obviously a trap as they head into an abandoned film lot.
