Patricia Thornton was the Director of Operations of The Phoenix Foundation and Head of the Department of External Services before being revealed to be the traitor.
Early Life[]
She had been Macgyver’s boss for years and kept her position when the name of the organization was changed from DXS to The Phoenix Foundation.
Season 1[]
She had been a traitor working for a terrorist organization she worked as the teams head and was the director for the first half of season 1. She kept Macgyver from looking for the CIA Triple agent Nikki Carpenter, which was believed to be a terrorist at the time.
When the Terrorist organization Hired Murdoc to Hunt down and kill Macgyver, Patricia imprisoned Mac only for him to escape and stop him.
Eventually, she was discovered and arrested by the Agents that worked for her. Shortly after, she was succeeded by Matilda Webber. After another Phoenix Foundation issue involving bombing set up by the organization, she had more time added to her sentence.
