The Brink is a group of young Hackers that are mentored Riley Davis. Riley used her identity as Artemis37 to reach out to young hackers with criminal records. She established the group to teach the hacker a positive outlet for their abilities. The group initially consisted of only female members but its membership has grown to include a hacker that identifies as non-binary. Russ Taylor initially did not want the members of The Brink to work with the The Phoenix Foundation since they were civilians with criminal records. Riley used the group to help the Phoenix Foundation investigate the nano-tracker Technology.
